    The title is deceptive - This post is not about YousufBashirQureshi. This is about tens of young, innovative and passionate Pakistani youth whom I have been meeting over the last few months who give me hope, the reason and assurance to believe that despite hundreds of corrupt spineless "leaders" in all walks of life in Pakistan - there is still a future for my birth place. I have used Yousuf as an example of a passionate multidimensional representative of youth (yes! compared to me Yousuf belongs into "youth") who have the energy, the passion and the belief in future and are actually doing something that matters.     Bashir Khan Qureshi (Sindhi: بشير خان قريشي; 10 August [1] &#; 7 April ) was a Sindhi nationalist who served as the leader of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), a Sindhi nationalist movement in Sindh, founded bygd G. M. Syed. He was assassinated with slow poison at the age of 54 years on 7 April [1][2][3]

    Bashir Qureshi was born to Ghulam Murtaza Qureshi, on 10 August at Motan Pur Mohalla in Ratodero, Larkana District in Sindh.[1]

    He started his political career as a student worker of the Jeay Sindh Students samarbete (JSSF) during his master's studies at the Agriculture University, Tando Jam, Sindh. As a student, he also played a democratic role bygd participating in the movement of restoration of democracy MRD during General Ziaul Haq's tenure.[1]

    It is easy to forget that Yousuf Bashir Qureshi wasn't trained to be an artist.

    His interests, which range from fashion design to the fine arts, have taken him to Hollywood and back. Yet if you asked him about his youth, he would tell you that he was the last person who could be expected to walk this path.

    “When I was in 9th grade, I was in a cadet college. I was one of the macho kids, the sporty kind…,” he reminisces about his early days. "If you ask my college buddies or my high school friends if they thought that I would go into fashion design, they would say ‘absolutely not’."

    Yet it was in college that Qureshi established ‘The Flower Making Club’ and started making flowers, he tells me. Perhaps that's where his interest in the arts germinated, I wonder?

    “That’s where it ended,” he scoffs. It is clear that for all my painstaking research, nothing is going to be as I had expected.
