Quentin Tarantino é um realizador, produtor, argumentistata e ator estadunidense que, em 2015, havia dirigido e escrito 11 filmes. Tarantino iniciou sua carreira cinematográfica no sista da década de 1980, dirigindo, escrevendo e estrelando My Best Friend's Birthday, um curta-metragem nunca lançado oficialmente. Interpretou o cantor Elvis Presley em uma pequena atuação na série The Golden Girls (1988) e apareceu em Eddie Presley (1992). Como cineasta independente, Tarantino dirigiu, escreveu e atuou no suspense Reservoir Dogs (1992), que conta a história dem cinco estranhos que titta unem para o assalto de suas vidas. O filme acabou impulsionando-o ao estrelato, sendo inclusive intitulado "O maior filme independente de todos os tempos" pela revista Empire.[1][2] Seu roteiro para True Romance (1993), dem Tony Scott, lhe rendeu uma indicação ao Prêmio Saturno.[3]

Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood[a] is a 2019 comedy-drama film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Produced by Columbia Pictures, Bona Film Group, Heyday Films and Visiona Romantica and distributed by Sony Pictures, it is a co-production between the United States, United Kingdom and China. It features an ensemble cast led by Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Set in 1969 Los Angeles, the film follows a fading actor and his stunt double as they navigate the rapidly changing film industry, with the threat of the Tate murders looming.
