We bow out of Heritage month by tracing the impact and contribution Ndaba Mhlongo has had on the the South African rulle, Theatre and Televion industry; notably through his work on Inyaka Nyaka as the rib-tickling Mshefane. Mhlongo was a multi-talented performer who wore many hats. He was an actor, comedian, assistant director and choreographer. The edition was the rise to fame of one of South Africa&#;s legendary actor, choreographer and incomperable comedy genius, Ndaba &#;Mshefane&#; Mhlongo.
Mshefane stared in so many South African televised films including the much acclaimed Sarafina, where he played a choreograph role that lent him a Tony Award nomination for Best Choreography.

South African television personality (born )
Somizi Buyani Mhlongo (born 23 December ) is a South African television presenter, choreographer, media personality and socialite. In , he appeared on the musical and political film, Sarafina! which gained him prominence.[2] Mhlongo became lead choreographer for numerous shows and events, including the opening and closing ceremonies for the FIFA World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations.[3][4]
After starring and taking part in the choreography of Sarafina!, Mhlongo also appeared in several films including drama film Cry, the Beloved Country () as well as various television shows, including Idols South Africa and&#;V Entertainment.[5]
