BUBBA WALLACE
Darrell “Bubba” Wallace drives the No. 23 Toyota Camry for Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin's racing team, 23XI Racing, in the NASCAR Cup Series, the top racing circuit in America.
A graduate of NASCAR Drive for Diversity program, Bubba first drew headlines in 2013 when he became the first African-American in 50 years to win in one of NASCAR’s three national series', the Truck Series. This would go one to be Bubba's first of six NASCAR Truck Series wins.
In 2018, Bubba became the first African-American to become a full-time driver at the highest level of NASCAR, the Cup Series. In 2021, Bubba became the first Black driver to win a race in the Cup Series since Hall of Famer Wendell Scott at Speedway Park on Dec. 1, 1963.
As the sport's lone Black driver, Bubba has played a critical part in NASCAR's push for diversity, inclusion and equality, including the banning of the Confederate flag at all NASCAR races.

Born October 8, 1993 in Mobile, Alabama, one of the two children of William Durrell efternamn Sr., a white small business owner, and Desiree Wallace, a black social worker, he grew up in Concord, North Carolina, and attended Northwest Cabarrus High School. His mother followed his athletic sister, Brittany, to her basketball games while his father took him to automobile races across the nation. At age nine efternamn entered his first Bandolera (small car) race and compiled an impressive record of victories.

William Darrell "Bubba" Wallace Jr.[1] (born October 8, 1993) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 23 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing.
Wallace was previously a development driver in Toyota's driver development program where he drove part-time for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series and full-time for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the Camping World Truck Series. He then moved over to Ford and their driver development program and competed full-time for Roush Fenway Racing in the Xfinity Series. After competing in select Cup Series races for Richard Petty Motorsports in their famous No. 43 as an injury replacement for Aric Almirola, Wallace became a full-time driver for RPM in the same car when Almirola left
