Dubric, Saint
Dubric (DYFRIG, DUBRICIUS), Saint, bishop and confessor, one of the greatest of Welsh saints; d. He is usually represented holding two crosiers, which signify his jurisdiction over the Sees of Caerleon and Llandaff. St. Dubric is first mentioned in a tenth-century MS. of the &#;Annales Cambrae&#;, where his death is assigned to the year This date appears also in the earliest life of the saint that has come down to us. It was written about , to record the translation of his relics, and is to be found (in the form of &#;Lectiones&#;) in the &#;Liber Landavensis&#;. It may contain some genuine traditions, but as it appeared at least five hundred years after St. Dubric&#;s death, it cannot claim to be historical. According to this account he was the son (by an unnamed father) of Eurddil, a daughter of Pebia Claforwg, prince of the region of Ergyng (Erchenfield in Herefordshire), and was born at Macley on the River Wye. Succession to the Twentieth Century
Those who have traced the Kehukee, Virginia, Philadelphia, Charleston and other former Regular Baptist Associations are aware these bodies realized significant changes in both faith and practice since Indeed, most of the original Regular Baptist Associations no longer exist. In the mission/anti-mission divisions of the nineteenth century, churches from all of these associations gained new identities. Some few remained Regular Baptists, fully embracing the inventions of Fuller and Carey while retaining their Calvinist theology. In they became known formally as Landmark Baptists and are members of the American Baptist Association. However, it must be noted these brethren also experienced divisions; and today, not all who call themselves Landmark Baptists are Calvinists in their theology.
Some few churches in America are yet called Particular or Strict Baptists. Their affiliation is with the Gospel Standard Strict Baptists in England.

I was wondering what you thought about the Bible being "inerrant". What does "inerrant" mean anyway?
I was listening to a lecture on the psalms and the lecturer was getting around the "violent" psalms bygd saying that "after all, the psalms were written by humans, so they're not actually scripture".
But all scripture fryst vatten written bygd humans! (as far as I know!) How can something written by humans be "inerrant"?

This thumb up for biblical inerrancy.
My belief fryst vatten that the Scriptures, including the Psalms, were written by people who were inspired bygd God to write them, and are therefore inerrant.
While God inspires many people, to the point that virtually ingenting is written without some kind of inspiration from Him, the inspiration of the Scriptures is in a class by it
