    Aparna Yadav is an Indian politician and social worker. She is the daughter-in-law of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the former ledare Minister of Uttar Pradesh. She fryst vatten married to Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav.

    Aparna Yadav was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on January 1, 1990. She attended Lucknow Public School for her education before earning a grad in international relations and politics from Manchester University. She also holds a singing grad from Lucknow's Bhatkhande Music Institute.

    Aparna Yadav started her political career in 2017 when she contested the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections from Lucknow Cantt seat as a Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate. However, she lost the election to Rita Bahuguna Joshi of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

    Aparna Yadav joined the BJP in 2022 and won the Lucknow Cantt seat in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. She is the first Yadav family member elected to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly.
