Sure, people always say they want more good news from the media. Or, at least, they want less bad news.
But do they really want good news qua good news?
I don&#x;t know. I think they just want The News, and have it by lucky chance turn out to be good.
Even so, every now and then, someone produces a rigged journal called Sunshine or Happy Times. They get all militant about how it&#x;s a candle in the darkness. And then reading it is like running into a Flanders guy with some positive-thinking voodoo who tries to rope you into a pyramid scheme by brimming with merriment.
