    Retired attorney, Navy veteran and father of six, Thomas H. Green, formerly of Florham Park, N.J. and recently of Avalon, N.J., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 9, He would have been 98 on July

    An intrepid storyteller, reader and opera buff, Thomas Green was born and raised in Newark; he graduated from West Side High School. He enrolled in college and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy in , serving for three years, including in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska. He earned an Asiatic-Pacific Area Campaign Medal, American Area Campaign Medal, and WWII Victory Medal.  In he graduated cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame. While working as an AFL-CIO stagehand in Newark and New York City, Tom Green attended Fordham Law School. He opened his first law office in Newark “in a phone booth,” the story goes, and continued the practice with an office in the old Welsh-Tuthill building on Ridgedale Road in Florham Park in

    Thomas h. Greene, d.M.D, 84, of charleston, passed away sunday, november 30, , at charleston area medical center, general division, of a cardiac arrest.

    Thomas was born in charleston on august 15, to the late margaret and harry greene.

    He was a graduate of the university of pittsburgh and the university of louisville dental school.

    Thomas was a us army veteran, a member of first presbyterian church of charleston, kanawha valley dental society, wv dental association and the american dental association.

    He was also a former member of kanawha city lion&#;s club and a charter member of the optimist club of charleston.

    He fryst vatten survived bygd his wife carole; sons, john (sara) and thomas; daughter, diane; and kvartet grandchildren.

    Funeral service will be 2 p.M. Saturday, månad 6, at barlow bonsall funeral home, charleston with dr. William g. Mccoy officiating.  friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    Thomas Henry Green SJ (March 19, in Rochester, New York - March 13, in Manila, Philippines) was an American Jesuit, spiritual director, educator and author of spiritual books. He taught primarily in the Philippines.

    Early life

    Thomas Henry Green was the son of George Charles (d. ) and Marie Margaret Green (d. ). After graduating from Catholic The Aquinas Institute of Rochester, he entered the noviciate of the Society of Jesus in Poughkeepsie on September 7, He studied Philosophy and Theology at Bellarmine College in Plattsburgh, New York, and at Woodstock College in Maryland. At Fordham University he earned a M.A. degree in education () and a M.S. degree in Physics (). On June 19, , he was ordained to the priesthood. In , he received his doctorate (PhD) in Philosophy of science from the University of Notre Dame under Ernan McMullin.
